Abstract

This thesis aims to find out the improvement of mutual cooperation character of SDN Warung Saptu students through cooperative learning strategies that are expected to improve the character of mutual cooperation.The research method used was classroom action research (CAR). This method is carried out with several stages, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. These stages are cycles that occur repeatedly and are carried out with the same steps. Data collection methods used were interviews, questionnaires, and observation.The results showed that the application of cooperative learning strategies can improve the character of mutual cooperation. This can be seen from the increasing results of the questionnaire each cycle. The increase of each cycle is cycle 1, the average value of students reached 79% with anough categories, increased in cycle 2 to 82% with high categories and increased again in cycle 3 to 92% with a very high category.Keywords: Cooperative Learning Strategies, Character Education and Mutual Cooperation Character.
